“Wake the fuck up! No one gave you permission to go to sleep!”
Xavier sat up straight in his chair as soon as he heard the booming voice of the chief petty office. He looked at the clock and noticed that they were waiting for over three hours. He scrubbed his face and ran his fingers over his bald head already missing his long hair. He felt naked without his hair. He looked up when he was passed a sheet of paper he took it and passed the rest to the guy behind him.
“I am Chief Petty Officer King and standing to my left is Chief Petty Officer Roberts. You will refer to us as chief.”
Xavier held back his gasp, it was the chief from earlier. He wasn’t wearing his cap that hid half of his face. He was definitely taller than the other chief and had muscles for days. The man was sexy with the brightest green eyes he’d ever seen. He had a tan complexion that Xavier thought was from being out in the sun too long, but now he realized that it was all natural. Xavier had known he was gay since he was thirteen years old. He’d lost his virginity when he was sixteen to a guy he’d barely knew and was easy to forget. He’d never been in a relationship and wouldn’t know where to start.
He started when he heard yelling in his ears. “You have wax in your ears recruit!”
He looked around everyone else was standing up and jumped to his feet without saying a word. What the hell did I miss? One by one they all started filing out of the room and lining up outside of the classroom. They walked down the hallway silently and to start the rest of his life.
The division commander hated him, Xavier was sure of that. It’s only been two weeks since he’d been there. He’d been told to drop and do pushups at least twenty times every time he opened his mouth. The last time he was told to drop all he did was ask a question. He walked over and threw his ballcap on his rack he was about to sit down when their Assistant Recruit Chief Petty Officer or AROC called the division to attention. Xavier hurried and stood before his rack standing at attention. He mentally rolled his eyes when he saw that it was Chief Asshole number two as everyone liked to call Roberts behind his back. Chief Asshole number one was King who seemed to have it out for Xavier.
“Carter come with me,” he ordered.
“Aye, aye, chief,” Xavier was learning not to ask questions he grabbed his ballcap and stuck it in the small opening of his pants and stood beside chief asshole number two.
‘The rest of you, clean this fucking place up, it’s a pig sty.”
Xavier didn’t dare to look around, he knew their ship wasn’t dirty they cleaned it every morning before the RDC’s showed up. They’d gotten used to how things went after the first few days of their division commanders showed up waking them up making them exercise until all they could do was drop. The favorite phrase was they wanted to make it rain inside of the ship. The more they sweat and fogged up the windows and made the floors wet from their sweat the more the division commanders drilled them. It was as if they took pleasure out of making their life a living hell.
“Follow me, Carter.”
Xavier turned and looked at his friends and shrugged his shoulders. Their guess was as good as his. He followed asshole number two out of their ship and down the p-way. Xavier had to get used to Navy lingos. The building they were in was calling the ship. A hallway was a p-way. Just as they were passing by the head which was the bathroom. the door opened and out walked asshole number two. He stopped and looked at both Xavier and then at Chief Roberts. He sighed and shook his head and then turned and walked the other way. Xavier heard a snort and was about to turn around but stopped when he heard.
“Eyes front, recruit.” Xavier didn’t say a word or move. “Wait here until I call for you,” he instructed.
“Aye, aye, Chief.”
Xavier stood with his back against the wall his legs shoulder length apart and his hands folded in the middle of his back. He kept his eyes forward and was still wondering what the fuck he was doing standing just a couple of away from asshole number one who hated him. Xavier wished he could hate the man too, but he was too fucking sexy and pushed every single one his buttons he was just realizing he had. Tall, sexy, and dominating. The man’s face would come to him at night when he was in his rack trying desperately failing not to jerk off.
“What the fuck do you think you’re doing?” Nick asked when Dave walked into his office.
“Being a good shipmate,” Dave told him with a smile.
“Fuck you too,” Nick snorted.
“Get off it man, you said you needed help and I figured why…”
‘Give me recruit fuck up,” Nick finished for him.
Dave chuckled. “It’s only been two weeks, Nick.”
“What’s your fucking point?” Nick asked him.
“You need to give him a chance to prove that he’s not that much of a fuck up.”
