It's been a very busy month for me. Not only am I finishing up the edits for Hidden Truth's. I'm also working on a few other projects. I've been told the reason why I have such a hard time seeping is that my brain doesn't know when to shut off. But it's hard when there are so many ideas swirling around up there. I've started research (or someone is helping me rather) on a new series that I hope to start writing next year. I'm working on books two for Pryde Pack series and two other books for the One-Night Stand series. Which by the way won't end with Lucas and Tucker's story. I was accosted by three other characters who basically yelled and me and said they wanted to have their stories told. There will be a spin-off to the One-Night series. I'm not exactly sure when those will be out. But they are in the works. I have a release date for both books coming out this summer. YAY!
I've enjoyed working on this two novels. Brenden and Stephen wanted their story told so badly that I was going to go crazy. They wouldn't shut up. I love their story and how they fell in love with each other. At times, Stephen was very frustrating to write, and at other's I wanted to smack the crap out of Brenden.
Jordan and Duncan I fell in love with these two, and you will see them in other parts of the series. Jordan was adorable to write, and I loved showing Duncan's possessiveness. I cannot wait to introduce the other characters and how they will play a role in the rest of the series. I kind of delved into another world I love to read whenever I get the chance.
I think a writer should always use their love of other things in their writings. Some might disagree, but that is how I feel.
As for other things happening, I'm battling with this time of year, when I want to take out my eyeballs and scratch them literally. The pollen here is so bad I walk around with tissues in my pockets all day long. It's very annoying. I deal with this every year, and I end up taking so many allergies meds it all starts to blend, and I doubt they are even working. On to other news. I've booked my room for GRL. I'm so excited and can't wait for October. I'm also nervous as hell. I'm going to meet the Authors whose works I've admired over the years. Other news, I'm putting together swag packs that I will showcase on my site that you can also order. They will have an autograph copy of one of my books, a t-shirt, pens, coffee cups with my book titles and a few other fun things. I'm still working on it. But you will be able to put your swag pack together, and it will be shipped to you :). As always thank you for your support.
Jordan's Pryde Book One Pryde Pack Series. Release date June 30, 2017 (Cover Reveal coming soon unless you signed up for my Newsletter you already got a sneak peak)
All he did was apply for a job and then his world was turned upside down.
Thrust into the world he had no idea about, Jordan Sutton’s only goal was to get a job working for Duncan Pryde of Pryde Industries. He thought werewolves, vampires, and Fey’s belonged in fairy tales, not in the real world. What will he do when he finds out that there’s more than meets the eye to his boss and his family?
Duncan Pryde had too much going on in his life. He became the sole guardian of his twin niece and nephew along with the addition of his pack and company. He had no time to think about finding a mate when trouble comes to his front door. What happens when the man he hired for one job turns out to be his mate? Does he deny what he feels or embrace it?
“Tell me, Mr. Sutton, why do you want to be my personal assistant?” Duncan watched as a worried expression crossed over Jordan’s face before he answered.
“Do you want me to be honest or give you the placated version that would make sure you hire me on the spot?”
Duncan chuckled, he liked this kid. He was also glad that the timidness he saw a few seconds ago was no longer in his posture. “If you do get the job what you need to know about me is that above all things, I value honesty from my employees.”
“I really need a job,” Jordan started. “I’m pretty close to moving back in with my parents and my little baby parked in your exquisite driveway is being held together by luck, hope and gods know a lot of prayers.” Jordan finished with a sigh. Duncan could tell he was trying not to sound desperate, about needing a job, but he did ask the man for honesty. “I’m also inexperienced but have admired you and your drive to succeed I feel working for your company, or you specifically will help me achieve my goals.”
He smelled the honesty coming from the young man. “Are you trying to butter me up, Mr. Sutton?” Duncan asked raising and eyebrow.
“Only if it’s working,” Jordan countered back with a smile that had Duncan thinking thoughts he really shouldn’t about the applicant.
Hidden Truth's: Mpreg Romance Book Three (My One-Night Stand Series) Coming Soon July 31 Cover reveal coming soon.
They say your past always show up when you least expect it. Brenden Smith made a promise to himself that he will never put his heart on the line again. He swore off romance after his last breakup. But what happens when the man he thought he was over showed up in his life with news he was not expecting?
Stephen Young broke off his relationship with Brenden over a misunderstanding and miscommunication. Working for the FBI, he knew it was only a matter of time before he and Brenden will be working together. Will they be able to work together and put the past behind them? Or will Stephen secret keep them apart?
“I think that's the first time I've seen you dressed up.”
Stephen turned his head to the side and locked eyes with the man he'd love to hate but can't. Brenden Smith, the man he once gave his heart to willingly and can never take it back even if he wanted to. Brenden cleaned up very well, he had on a black suit with the top shirt buttons open showing a bit of skin. So well the Stephen wanted to undress him slowly.
Shit, I need to get laid. It's been too fucking long since I've been pinned against a wall or bed. The last was with the man standing beside me.
“Don’t tell me cat got your tongue?” Brenden whispered in his ear causing him to shiver. “Your mouth, usually doesn't know when to shut up,” his tongue trailed along the outer shell of Stephen’s ear. He could smell the vodka mixed with a hint of mint Brenden’s breath and whatever colony he was wearing. Stephen swallowed discreetly hiding the effect that the older man’s scent was having on him.
Ethan rolled eyes, but did not move away, even though he knew he should. “What do you want, Brenden?”
“You, for one night,” he whispered trailing kisses down his ear and to his neck. “For one night us to hold you and hear you scream my name the way you use to.” Brenden nipped at Stephen’s neck.
